Payson will celebrate it’s 129th year of the August Doins Rodeo, the oldest continuous rodeo in the world!
Tickets are $18 for adults, $16 for seniors, $10 for children 8-10 and free for children 7 and under. If you show an active military card, you will also not be charged for admission.
Performances will be held at the Payson Events Center — just across the street from the Mazatzal Casino on the west side of the road at the light. Performance times are Saturday at 1 and 7 pm (gates open at 11 am and 5 pm), and Sunday at 1 pm (gates open at 11 am). On Friday night, the “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” performance will be at 7 pm (gates open at 5 pm).
Be prepared for a weekend of fun, beginning with Cactus WPN Barrel Racing on Thursday night at 7 (gates open at 5). Admission is 1 can of food. On Saturday morning at 9 am is the 129th August Doins Rodeo Parade down Payson’s Historic Main Street.
